I am an international student at a school outside the U.S., am I eligible for a Funding U loan?
At this time, we only lend to U.S. Citizens, permanent residents, and DACA recipients at one of the approximately 1450 eligible colleges in the U.S. We are not able to lend to students attending schools outside of the U.S.
LOAN ELIGIBILITY: Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, age 18 or over. Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a bachelor’s degree program at a Title IV-eligible four year college (for-profit schools not eligible).
LOAN AVAILABILITY - Residents of the following states are eligible for 2022-2023 loans:
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
