FAQs:

I forgot my username/password.

If you have previously started a loan application, your username is the email address you provided. Funding U does not use passwords. 

To log in and continue a loan application or start a new application:

  1. Click “Sign In”
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email and click the magic link to securely sign in

If you are an existing borrower checking on your funded loan, please visit scratch.fi to log in to your online loan account.

LOAN ELIGIBILITY: Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, age 18 or over. Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a bachelor’s degree program at a Title IV-eligible four year college (for-profit schools not eligible).
LOAN AVAILABILITY - Residents of the following states are eligible for 2023-2024 loans: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Terms and conditions vary by state.
